You can help dvconnect help families affected by domestic and family violence to find safety and support by donating to our service. Your tax-deductible contribution will make an enormous difference in the lives of adults and children affected by this tragedy.

Your donations can help provide:

  • Evacuations of women and children from a critical incident to safety during the night.
  • Emergency accommodation in a secure location
  • Crisis counselling and support from professional counsellors 24hrs a day
  • Emergency food and toiletries for families who are forced to leave their homes in crisis
  • The costs of caring for pets for families in refuges
  • Training and awareness about dvconnect’s service in Queensland

Events

dvconnect hosts and is involved in a variety of events throughout the year.

If you are feeling creative, you may wish to organise your own event to benefit dvconnect- domestic and family violence service!

The possibilities are endless and we would be happy to hear from you, and support you in this endeavour.

Walk-a-thons, raffles, charity benefit concerts or events, morning teas, gold coin donations….almost anything could be a way to raise vital funds for survivors of domestic violence.

It could be as simple as donating 10% of the proceeds of your morning takings, or ticket sales for a social event you were going to hold anyway!
